Yurts Ready to Go
Our complete “Ready to Go” yurts have everything included and are ready to go camping. Similar to the “Full Yurt Kit” except there is no finishing or assembly work required. All you have to do is unpack it, follow the set up instructions and you can have a yurt up in as little as 45 minutes.
All wood parts are sanded smooth and sealed with boiled Linseed oil or varnish. The canvas is untreated and has not been waterproofed – We recommend upgrading to the “Sunforger Marine Canvas” as the natural canvas will shrink if it gets wet.

10 Steps to Setting up a Yurt
- Erecting the yurt is a simple and straight forward procedure once you know what you are doing.
- Key to the process is to first mark out a circle on the ground.
- This can be either done by using a round groundsheet which sets the perimeter for you, or by scribing a circle on the ground using a couple of tent pegs and length of string.
- Place the door where you would like it.
- Open out the two wall sections, connect them together at the back of the yurt opposite the door and then connect to the two door posts.
- Fit the tension band to one door post, wrap it around the top of the wall and secure to the other door post.
- Position 3 poles equally around the yurt.
Tie 2 poles to the top of the wall and to the ring. - With the third pole inserted into the ring, lift the ring into place and tie off the third pole.
- Fit the remaining poles around the yurt wall.
- Finally fit the wall and roof canvas.
