Workshops
My yurt building workshops are a great way to gain the knowledge and experience to make your own. Not only will you learn some new practical skills, but also have a good time too.
The workshop is hands-on and you will be taken through every stage of making a camping yurt. You will go away with enough knowledge and a free set of instructions on how to make your own.
2010 Workshops - Pacific Northwest
There are plans for several yurt workshops in the Seattle area, eastern Washington, northern Idaho, northern Oregon and California. New dates will be added so please check back.

Workshops in Summer Lake, Oregon
We live out in the high desert of Oregon, miles from anywhere which isn't always a very practical place for people to get to. But if you don't mind traveling, it's well worth the trip.
We have an RV park next door with full hook ups, showers etc and there is also a lake at the bottom of the road where you can camp for free. If you would like to stay in a camping yurt , we can arrange that too! For the workshop program, see the Workshop Details page.
